From August 24, 2017 through September 8, 2017, pre-order Monster Hunter Stories game at Amazon and receive exclusively at Amazon a code to download the “Rider Set” which comprises of 4 different monsters, upon purchase of the game. Download instructions:

1. From the HOME Menu, select the Nintendo eShop icon.

2. Select “Menu,” then select “Redeem Download Code.”

3. Tap the box that says, “Enter a download code.”

4. Use the touchscreen to enter the download code and tap “OK.” Please note that players will have to progress past a certain point in the game to be able to use these monsters in-game. DL code can only be redeemed once in the full game, upon purchase.

Search the indicated location to find the corresponding egg. Some monsters can be found in multiple areas, like Perenniel Pass contains some monsters from Monsonne Plains. The eggs that can be found later in the game can usually be found once the sub quest to hunt the monster is unlocked.

The following is a list of some Poogies you can find early in the game:

Marshmallow: It is found in Mt. Pondry Caves. It gives 5 Herbs.

Pumpkin: It is found on a Mt. Pondry hill stone near Hakum Village. It gives 5 Rare Steak.

Porky: It is found at Darj Rock Baths. It gives 3 Well Done Steak.

Peter: It is found near the V-Shape area in Babda Rainforest. Go to the swamp near it to find it. It gives Lifepowder.

Bomba: It is found in Hunter's Guild, inside the Hall Of Scriveners. It wears a purple diaper with gold pattern and gives 3 Eyedrops.

Schnumpfnut: It is on the right when you enter Whistill Forest, wearing a blue diaper. It gives 10 Blue Mushrooms.

Chubs: It is found in Hunter's Guild, wearing a red sash with a blue diaper. It gives Max Potion.

Deli: It is found at the right side of Gilgegaran Port, wearing blue and yellow stripes. It gives 5 Hunter Donuts.

Smoothy: It is found at the eastern cliff wall of Darj Snowfields, near the Zambtrios Boss fight. It has green stripes and gives 3 Potions.

Goblin: It is found inside Darj Mountain Cabins. It gives a Shroom and 3 Larva.

Pearl: It is found near the Khezu Boss in Wintertide Tunnel. It gives Electro Sac.

Cobra: This requires a Monstie with the Swim ability. It is found at the Proving Grounds opposite Pondry Hill, between the forest and the cave entrance. It has tiger stripes and gives Ancient Potion.

Hogworth: It is found near the northwest side of Anivia's Test story mission, near the Darj Hinterlands Caravan Stand. It has zebra stripes.

Dr. Hamm: This requires a Monstie with the Swim ability. It is found near the north ice floes at Darj Snowfields. It has bluish gray zebra stripes and gives 10 Lifesoot.

Miriam: It is found inside a spring on the upper side of Room Of Trials. It has blue specks and gives 5 Binoculars.

Fido: It is found at Darj Rock Baths on the south of hot spring. It has cow spots and gives 10 Binoculars.

Francis: It is found at Trese Salt Caves. It has yellow and red stripes and gives a Paw Pass Ticket.

Vivian: It is found at Wintertide Tunnel. Hug the left side wall until you find the blue pig. It gives 5 Zest Pills.

Loin: It is found on the east side of Albarax. It has pink and white and gives 2 Muscle Meat.

Pie: It is found in the ship at Gilgegaran Port. It has an afro and gives 2 Large Barrels.

Goober: It is found at Perennial Pass. Follow the road until it curves from the initial entry point after you exit Wintertide Tunnel. The red clothed pig is in the alley behind the sleeping Rathian and gives 3 Antidotes.

Pokke: This requires a Monstie with the Swim ability. It is found in a cave at the east side of the Darj Snowfields. It gives a Frozen Mushroom.

Search the indicated location to find the coresponding recipe book. They give recipes for a variety of items such as Potions, Antidotes, and Large Barrel Bombs. You need these recipes, but they are expensive to buy from the store. Most of the books are obtained by completing sub quests.
